I joined the KH blogring!

It took forever, but I got the code to work correctly! I want to document my sweater design class over the next few weeks. I think I'm going to look for a better digicam.

The best news this week--I found the rest of the yarn I need for my sweater! I was really unhappy with the new dye lot from Brown Sheep and I couldn't use the two dye lots together, they didn't look anything alike. But I finally found the yarn I need. Whew!

Steve's sister and her family were here this morning. The kids were so excited to see snow AND hills in the same place. They got four inches last week, but the only available place to sled in Alexandria was the Masonic Temple, and they just planted trees at the bottom of their hill. (Gee, I wonder why...) We could still see blades of grass, but there was just enough snow to keep the sled going. It was only about 15 degrees, everyone got mighty cold, and the sledding only lasted about two runs per kid, but they are never going to forget the ride down our hill!
Now they are off to Rochester to visit with friends for the rest of the weekend.

I am going to go do some more swatching and try to figure out my stitches per inch. I also need to make some drawings in my notebook. The thing is that I have a drawing already laid out by the crochet pattern that I'm adapting, so I feel that drawings are redundant. Oh well, it's homework and I always do my homework.
